We just finished Thanksgiving break. The food was eaten, the traveling days are behind you and you may be just starting to recover from the interruption of your family routine. If you are like a lot of parents, during school break, you grow weary of the "I'm boreds," work overtime to stop fights and do your best to keep your house from utter chaos.
We salute you, parents of students on break!
With one holiday behind us and the looming extra long break of Christmas, it's a great time to think about the very long expanse of summer break. The school year is halfway over and although there is a nip in the Kansas City air, May will be upon us before we blink. It is definitely not too early to be thinking about how you will keep your bright kids busy during the summer. Bright Lights Institute has great news for you!
Starting in Summer 2016, we are launching our Summer Camp programming. We will be offering six week-long, hands-on exploratory camps for students who have completed Kindergarten through eighth grade. Each camp will be a delightful combination of fun, experimentation, creativity and academics to help your student stay engaged and active during the long hot days of summer.
We have posted our camp dates and descriptions here. From global travel and musical composition to leadership, do-it-yourself projects, career expertise and theater, Bright Lights Institute has something for every student. You can stay posted on updates about Bright Lights Institute programming or get signed up for a camp now.
We are thrilled to provide these think-outside-the-box summer programs for Kansas City area students. Please contact us if you have any questions. We are so excited for a fun summer ahead!
