Bright Lights Institute kicks off its fall season in a new location and a brand new space on September 11, 2017. To allow our program to continue its growth and pursue its mission of helping children shine brightly on the world stage, Bright Lights Institute is excited to announce its new partnership with New Springs Community Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri.
"This new location includes over 14 acres of green space, great for outdoor games, creative activities and community events," says Bright Lights Program Director Renae Kitchin. "We continue to plan and dream about how we can utilize this to impact the area students."
In addition to a large property, the church building itself has a variety of rooms and open spaces great for holding exploratory classes, small group lessons and of course, performance space.
"This fall, our troupe program has the ability to freely rotate from an open performance space, to smaller classrooms to even a coffee shop feel, encouraging our young performers to see how they can adapt their techniques to different settings," says Performing Arts Director A.J. Valle. "
