2017 Summer Camp FAQs
What are camp hours?
Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Extended after care hours are 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an additional charge
Where is the summer program located?
Camp will be held at Summit Park Church – 2818 NE Independence Ave, Lee's Summit, MO 64064.
Do you provide lunch or snacks?
Students must bring their own packed lunch and a morning and afternoon snack.
What does it cost?
Pricing information is available on our camp catalog page. Full summer registrations and per month bundling for multiple camp enrollments are available.
Will students be traveling off site?
Yes we will travel off site. Bright Lights will be using short bus and a certified driver. Field trips will be well-communicated in advance.
What are the age ranges for campers?
Camp is available for students who have completed Kindergarten through 8th grade.
What are camp class sizes?
Our student to instructor/counselor ratio goal is 1:15.
What supplies will my child need?
Bright Lights Institute will provide most supplies. Any needed special items, clothing, supplies, additional activity fees, etc. will be communicated in advance. Students should bring their lunch, snacks and a water bottle.
Are refunds provided?
We understand that summer is a busy time for families. Vacations and other activities can get in the way of a camp that is already paid for. You must cancel 15 days in advance to get a full refund minus 5% processing fees. Once camp has started we will be unable to grant a refund. You would be allowed however to apply your fee to a future camp or program with Bright Lights.
